We are proud to highlight our recent achievement with the installation of Remark® ZERO EMISSIONS filter bags at the world’s largest suspension furnace and electric furnace setup. A Milestone in Filtration Excellence
The latest installation, which focuses on dust removal from the de-coppering process in the ventilation system of an electric furnace, exemplifies the capabilities of our cutting-edge filtration solutions. Our Remark® GL75GL.MT.034 filter bags, featuring glass fabrics with PTFE membranes, were deployed to address the demanding conditions of smelting concentrate in a flash furnace and de-coppering slag for copper recovery.
Key project specifics include:
- Operational Conditions: Dust-laden gases cooled to temperatures between 220°C and 260°C
- Nominal Throughput under operating conditions: 650,000 m³/h
- Filtration Area: 14,000 m²
- Regeneration System: „On-line“ filter material regeneration
- Gas Dust Content After the Filter: ≤ 1 mg/Nm³
